I started Uni just over a month ago and so expressed whilst Tally was at the childminder, it started off well with me getting up to 7.5oz each time, then it started going down to between 5/6 and now i struggle to even get 3oz out :( It's really getting me down, i've been fine up until now and i'm not doing anything different, i express in the morning off the boob she doesnt feed off of at night and usually get a large amount.

She's also STILL not sleeping and when she wakes and comes in to our bed i dont sleep anymore, she doesnt feed and goto sleep like before, she literally feeds for 2 hours then drifts off, Dave rolls over and hay presto she's awake and screaming again. It's breaking my back lying on my side all night too.

She's also started screaming for attention rather then crying and it's like someone scraping their nails down a blackboard, i hate it but atm i cant even put my clothes on without having to listen to it :wall:

Dave gave her a rusk whilst i was at uni on tuesday which she absolutely loved, she ate at least half of it, he didnt mix it with milk just gave her the biscuit to munch, but she's not big enough yet to grab the actual biscuit, she grabs your hands with it in and feeds herself that way.

I've got 4 weeks of uni left and i really wanted to be able to put off weaning until then so we could have time to really think about what she's eating etc. I just get the feeling that at this rate i wont be able to express anything by next week. If she has days like yesterday it'll be ok as she only drank 2oz in the 5 hours she was with the childminder, but she's also drunk about 16oz before, there's no way i could express that for her anymore. I've been eating porridge everyday and it's not helping, i'm also so tired that there's no way i'm going to get my uni assignments done on time, she wont be put down atm (she's screaming for attention as i type this). I dont think i could take her to uni with me either, not whilst she's making this noise all the fucking time.

I've really had enough right now, everyday i have to go to uni i end up having to leave her screaming in her cot so i can get dressed, even then i only just about manage to throw clothes on and scrap my hair back, even having a shower is difficult and i just wanna be able to walk away from her for a day and have some time where i'm not confined to someone who seems to know exactle how to manipulate and control me. I also wanna be a normal uni student, i wanna be able to actually read the things we're meant to and spend time at the library but i cant even do that.

Can't help with the behaviour I'm afraid but Purple13 just replied to my post about reduced milk supply - she suggested fenugreek - oats, fennel tea & blackthorn juice and advised to just keep expressing to encourage the supply.

I'd never heard of this happening before but it seems quite common as there have been a few posts on it lately
