Help how to paste comment with persons name

Hi I keep meaning to ask this but keep forgetting !

When I copy a quote from the same topic into an answer I can't seem to get it to show who wrote the original quote it always just says quote rather than "whoever said" - I copy the comment I want to quote click on quote then paste the comment and then click on quote again! What am I doing wrong.

just press quote on the side of the text box where someones written, edit it to how long u want and it should work??

try it on what i just wrote!!!
