Hello, everyone!
My name is Bobbie. I'm 22 and just found out I'm pregnant. Two months ago I had a miscarriage. Due to emotional stress, I wasn't expecting to have a period and wasn't surprised when one didn't come.
My boyfriend and I also recently moved into a new apartment a month ago, and slowly began to notice mold all over the bathroom (from peeling back tiles and changing ceiling tiles). Along the time of noticing the mold, I started feeling sick. So we stayed with my mom (we're still staying with her as the apartment is being repaired). A week after, I still felt sick and it was getting worse. So I went to the doctors and explained to him about the mold. He asked if there is a chance I could be pregnant, I explained to him about the miscarriage and that I doubted it, but it was possible. After giving a urine sample, a few moments later he came back and said "Well, you're not sick because of mold. You're sick because you're pregnant."
Since then I've received a second positive from Family Planning. I will be calling a few OBGYN's to set up an ultrasound to find out how far along I am. I also decided it would be a good idea to join a forum to make friends and learn as much as I can from other expecting mothers and moms who already have children.
