Hello! Starting 2nd Tri Today!

Everyone!

I'm 13 weeks pregnant today!

I've STILL not seen a midwife/had a scan/blood taken or anything!

It was decided byy my community midwife that I was high risk and that I should attend the Queen Mum's in Glasgow. Was referred there almost 3 weeks ago and still nothing!

I bought a doppler, and heard the heart beat, so at least I know there is something in there!

Planning on teeling my work tomorrow. Started telling family on Saturday!

So hello....and here's to a happy healthy 2nd tri for us all!

Hi Lainey - welcome to Tri 2. you should get on the phone to the hospital and chase up your appointment.......you should be getting a scan any time now

I second the advice about chasing up the hospital. You need a scan at around 12-13 weeks especially if you are "high risk". Give them a ring and get that appointment booked.

Hi & welcome to T2...I'd chase up the hospital/midwife etc I can't believe even as high risk you haven't heard anything, your due a scan any day now (the 12 weeks one) and should have had booking in bloods taken to check for maternal blood group, antibodies and ensure your clear of any real nasties like Hepetitus B,C or HIV etc. Chase them up, you deserve attention and especially so if they think your pregnacny is higher risk.
