Hello! Newbie almost TTC!

Good Morning!

My name is Sarah and I am living in Dubai at the moment.

I stopped taking Cerazette 3 weeks ago as me and my husband want to start trying for a baby. I thought my periods would come back straight away but they haven't and now I have started reading all these horror stories about them not coming back for ages!

Luckily we are in no hurry and we are just going to see what happens for now.

At the moment we are not sure how long we want to stay in Dubai. We came over to pay off credit card debts and save some money. I should have the debts paid of by the end of this year so we'll see what happens!

Not sure if I like the idea of having a baby in Dubai without the support of my friends and family but we'll see what happens.

I'd love to chat to people in the same situation!

Not been in your position but i do get the want to have family and friends around when you have your first child. I hope that you have lots of luck TTC!XX

hi and welcome. I was on depo provera on and off for 9 years. I read so many horror stories about it taking forever for cycles to return, and sometimes they dont come back at all ect, after 6 months of stopping it we are pregnant, my cycles returned to normal in december after only 4 months.So dont give up as you have only just stopped the pill, and just try and stay relaxed, plus all the practising is still fun xx

Hi and welcome. I was on the same pill as you, came off it and came on af about 4 weeks later. Not preg yet but I have got regular cycles? Good luck x

Thank you for the positive responses! It's been just over 3 weeks now and still no sign of AF. Just sore boobs and very bloated. I'm sure it will come soon though.
