Hello guys,

I'm new so thought I would take a moment to introduce myself.

I'm 28, marrying the man of my dreams in July. This is our first pregnancy and came as a complete happy shock to us.

We started ttc in December 2009, during the first year of trying we found out I had PCOS. We never gave up hope but as time went on and I had more tests and found out I did not ovulate. We we're given Clomid for three months but this did not work. In September 11 I was told to lose 4 stone and then we could try again. I must admit I went in to dental for about 6 months but since then I have been losing weight and half a stone of the 4 stone Mark. What with wedding planning and having an incredibly poorly Nan I've been quite stressed and not been able to eat sleep weeing a lot so the OH sent me off to Drs with me saying it's stress nothing they can do. So last Wednesday I got told the most wonderful news that we're expecting our first little bundle of joy. We're not quite sure how far gone I am as I don't have a menstrual cycle but Dr thinks 4 - 6 weeks. However I had a little scare with some pink when I went to the toilet and after talking to the Dr today he thinks I'm 7-8 weeks and this is the placenta taking over. So I could be a week ahead of what he originally thought.

My first midwife appointment is 29th April and hope to have scan beginning of May xx

Well that's enough waffling from me,
