Hi there

New girl here. I'm pregnant for the first time, 5 weeks along and due in September. :yellow:

Hoping everything goes okay in the next few weeks as I know it's a crucial phase of development for the baby. What will be, will be as they say...

I'm 27 and live in Sheffield. Not enjoying the icy pavements at the moment!

I've just been for my first doctor's appointment this morning and found out the name of my midwife. :bump:

Looking forward to sharing my pregnancy with you all.

Hi Fiona

I too 'think' I am 5 weeks pregnant - this is my first post on the forum.

I am curious as to how you got an appointment with the doctor - I went in to book an appointment but the receptionist said I wont be seen by anyone till 8-10 weeks. This is my first time pregnant so have no idea what happens

Hi there :-)

Congratulations.

I just booked an appointment without telling them what I was going for. Plus, I had something else to see the doctor about , too. She felt my tummy as I'd had a few pains on my left side and then just explained about diet supplements like folic acid and what I should and shouldn't be eating. She also worked out my due date. I then put my name down for the midwife. They told me her name and said she'd ring me in 2-3 weeks.

Congratulations x

My fat fingers can't spell! x
