Hi girls. Apologise in advance for what's going to be a waffely post. Before we were ttc, about 5 months ago, I was on the pill but at the end of a packet I missed a week before I would start the next and was advised to not carry on with next lot till I'd had a 'normal' period. So I did this and af came naturally after about 5 weeks, anyway, came off pill naturally 7 weeks ago and still nothing, I know this is not unusual but thought seen as they came back so quick last time they would this time, anyway, how long do I leave it before I go to docs if no af comes??? Also , going off on a tangent but I know docs won't even look at you for tests unless you've been trying for over year unless your over 35? Is this just the womans age or mans too? Hubby is 37 nearly 38. Any advice appreciated. Thank you x

My friend got preggers after coming off the pill.She hadn't even had a period!I would do a test and if negative maybe visit docs?
