hoope someone can reply before i actually have to go out lol but how do u heat food when your out ? he'll take fruit puree and room temp but i got a feeling the savoury ones need heating up a bit as they go smoother then ! or do u just serve at room temp , jar says i can but eewwww

Was at a christening with my friend and her 7 month old recently. He just takes his mush at room temperature :)

Depends where you're going really, if its just a trip into town then a lot of places will offer to heat baby food up for you (places like Debenhams have a baby area with a microwave and cutlery etc!)

Some babies like some of the purees cold (not my preference!) but you never know, he might like it so try him!

we usually carry a flask of hot water and a jug when we go out to warm ellies bottles as she wont drink milk unless its warm, maybe it would work for food too?

maybe ill spoil him today and take 2 fruity ones out lol and ill try him on some cold savoury at home ! his not thrilled with savoury anyway !

im taking his food out in a bowl ( with lid etc) so id need a big cup to fit it in witht he flask idea ! im lucky he loves his bottles at room temp !

This might be a silly idea lol but what about if you heat it up and put it in a bottle bag?? not sure if that would keep it warm?
I know what you mean about heating up savoury! HOW COULD YOU NOT?! lol yuck!! :puke:

Hey we bought this from jojomamanbebe its very good you just pop the jar or container into the pouch push the disk and it heats the food, takes about 15-20 mins to be warm, but we wouldnt be without it! its about 12 pounds i think,
the only downside is that u need to reactivate the heat disk after each use buy either putting it in a cycle of the steriliser or in boiling water for 5 mins, but very handy to have imo!

i just read ur taking ur food in a bowl so maybe it wont work, i use the avent containers with lids to store avas food and they fit in perfectly xxxxxx

I was gonna say... you can buy food warmers like bottle warmers. Tesco sell them for about £10 :)

If we have to feed LO when out and about, I use powdered baby food (Heinz does some) and carry a flask of hot water.

i used to use the packet food that you mix with water and just take a small flask of water with me and then you can make as much or a little as you need wherever you are

Harrison takes it at room temperature so I'm lucky there, but I take a flask and jug for his milk
