Heartburn

anybody else suffering from heartburn, ! have has it since about week 17 and its horrible. Other than gavison can anybody recommend anything that worked for them?

I do hun but gaviscon helps me. I've heard drinking milk can help, which is no use to me as I don't like.milk lol.
Eating smaller.meals and trying to eat and drink thinks that are less acidic. I love fresh Orange juice but I can't drink it anymore, oh and also spicy food can trigger it off.

Yep I get it bad! Milk does help and keeping your head elevated at night. I use the rennie soft chews which get rid of it.

I've had heartburn from the word go, i've been prescribed ranitidine which is a god send

I know you said other than gaviscon but have you tried gaviscon advance? It's over the counter so you need to find a pharmacy, the relief lasts just a bit longer but it's worth it! GP can also prescribe it for you!

i've tried all the mentioned above and sometimes none of then work for me hence why i'm awake at 3.15am! I only get it when i'm pregnant so roll on march 15th x

Mine is terrible atm, nothing seems to work and everything sets it off hence why I am also awake at this time

I get it terribly also - total acid burning indigestion, so bad sometimes that I just want to cry! Gaviscon helps , I now have that Gaviscon advance which is pretty good, but nothing stops it coming on - sometimes it even comes on about 4 hours after I've eaten!! xx

only thing that works for me is a freezing cold galss of milk, i dont like milk either but its heaven at mo for the heartburn, my kids see me put my hand up to my chest and they run and get me a glass before i'm sick, bless them even the girl next door started joining in lol.

I've had it bad too. Natural yoghurt seems to not give me' heart burn try that and good luck
