Heartbeat

Been to see midwife today for 16 week check, heard heartbeat-it was really strong and loud and I could hear baby moving-very active apparently!!

Managed to record it on my mobile so OH could hear it-sent him it as a text message-made his day!!

So happy-just wanted to share it!! xxx

Its great isnt it when you hear the heartbeat, mine was a little mover too!

Yeah! I see my midwife tomorrow for my check up so hope to report the same thing! It's so weird, I still get nervous she is going to tell me she can't hear anything....I must chill out!

Lynds, I always worry there isnt going to b anything there each time I go!!

The midwife did say she may not be able to find heartbeat today and I may have to go back next week, but it was there fgood and strong straight away.

Good luk tomorrow, cant wait to hear all about it, can you record it on your mobile?? I have played it back hundreds of times and rang everyone to play it down the phone!! xx

That's cool Zoe. Did it sound like a train or a galloping horse? don't know why I ask because mine sounded like at train which means it should be a boy but I'm having a girl! It was also only 132 beats a min which should have been a boy too so it is obviously an old wives tale but fun!

Just got OH to play it back, erm its sounds like a train??!! Tried to count beats I think it as around 140??

What you reckon, boy or girl? xx

I love hearing the heartbeat..thats the highlight of going to see the midwife..she has to give me something because she usually wants blood from me

Thanks everyone! Just got back from my appointment and everything is fine. She couldn't find the heartbeat at first but she could hear it wriggling around (alot!) and then she found it - thank god!!! I didn't record it because I have just ordered myself a doppler on ebay so I can listen to it all the time!! Yippeeeeeeeee. Cannot wait for it to arrive.

I think my midwife was surprised because I didn't really have any questions to ask her...but I find out everything from this forum!!

I know the forum really makes you feel at ease doesnt it..I recommend it to all preggy ladies I meet!
