Just wondering does anyone eles get headaches alot since bein pregnant and can they becaused by tiredness x

I've had really, really bad ones!! I think it may be to do with dehydration, as if I drink a gallon of water, it does ease a bit.

But the ones when you stand up and feel like you've been clubbed over the head, not sure how to tackle those!!

I think it's also to do with the increase in hormones! You normally get them worse in first tri but they can also be to do with dehydration too

I get loads of these too - Hubby suffers with migraines and I reckon he's passed on the gene lol

However I have found it helps if I'm not dehydrated. Also it may be a problem with your eyes, it may be worth having them tested and I also carry a 4head stick after someones suggestion on here xxxxxxxxxxxxx

ive been drinkin tons of water and its defo helped x

I've been suffering throughout, I have a tendancy to get hormonal related migraines anyway. I've been taking co-codamol to relieve the pain

Have suffered headaches throughout my pregnancy, nothing but rest and paracetamol was the advice i was given.

One of many pregnancy related problems, The joys :wall:

Yeah, I have headaches on odd days (once maybe twice a week), but I find that a nap or drinking lots does help. I would mention the headaches to your midwife if they are constant and not going away at all, as it could be something other than over-tiredness or dehydration.

Hugs x x x

there not all the time but i think i may tell my midwife thou cos i get them alot i have one now but prob dosent help that i have toothache and was up and down lastnight so im shattered

Ohh just had a thought have no idea how tru this is - when my friend was pregnant with her first baby she had really bad sore heads and it turned out to be because she was eating bread. Once she cut out bread they eased off - mite b an old wives tale but u never know???
