I'm still breastfeeding my 11 month old, which has been going great, even though I am heavily pregnant, but today he's barely touched a drop...

He latches on and has a tiny drink, then stops.

He's done that a few times now, it's like he's suddenly gone off the taste or something!

What should I do ?

I don't want to put him on formula feed just yet, but I'll have no choice if he continues to only drink a little bit every now and then rather than his usual really long drinks...

It might be that your milk has changed ready for the new baby and your lo doesn't like the taste? Ive worried about this as my daughter loves boobie milk but I'd want my next baby to have the colostrum just like Isla did. It's all I can think off xx

Maybe he's just naturally weaning himself off? Is he getting enough nourishment/goodness from his solid foods? If he is eating a good balanced diet then I wouldn't worry too much

He is getting a good balanced diet, and perhaps he is weening himself off, but I don't know... It is like he wants to drink, but as soon as he gets the taste he pulls away...
