Hazelnuts...?

Hi all,

I know we are not supposed to eat peanuts but does the same apply for Hazelnuts too. I always have them at christmas and this year I am craving them like mad but don't know if I can have them or not.

Please help.

Hazelnuts are fine unless you have a pre-existing allergy.

as far as I know they r fine. even peanuts are ok! unless u r allergic to it i guess.

I;ve been eating chocolates with hazelnuts in. I think the nuts thing is only if there are existing allergies in the family (am staying away from peanuts as Andy has a slight reaction to peanut butter).

my OH is allergic to nuts and my mum is allergic to all nuts so i'm doomed when it comes to nuts when i'm pregnant!
