[Mary Poppins]

So today is the day of the lovely Michelle's induction!

First update ~ she is in hospital, pessary inserted. Michelle is already 1cm dilated and head is very low so midwife was able to touch waters and baby's head. All looking good on the monitors.

Come on Michelle, we are all right behind you! Xx

16pm ~ having some contractions which are showing on monitor, and cramps in back x

2:40 ~ cramps in back getting a bit worse but not too much else happening. Being checked again in 6 hours x

3:55 ~ Michelle caved and ate a twirl. She said it was the best twirl ever! X

8:40am ~ Michelle got a decent nights sleep but not much else happening at the mo. We are all thinking of you Michelle! X

10:50 ~ Michelle is on the labour ward, the have broken her waters and she is 3cm

6:14 ~ baby is here and it's a girl!! Baby summer weighed 6lb3 ~ Michelle says she is tiny and perfect!!!

Well done Michelle, know this update will raise loads of smiles across the country! X
