Its been 7 years since the traumatic birth of my daughter where everything pretty much went pear shaped and as a result its taken me this long to concieve again. Well after 15 weeks they have finally located my birth notes from that delivery and tomorrow they want to go over them with me in a de-briefing before finally deciding whether or not to give me a c section or make me go naturally. I have to be honest I am sooooooo scared of the prospect of reliving what was a very traumatic experience and not relishing the prospect of going over it but appreciate the necessity of it. I almot hope they tell me I need a c section.
Wish me luck folks as I'm dead scared.

You could always tell them that due to the emotional labour before you will find it hard to give birth naturaly, maybe say u need a c section.

Good luck anyway hun hope it goes well for you xx

Good luck, my friend had a very traumatic birth too. With her second she had a c section and said she couldn't believe what a different experience it was. Relaxed, joking in the delivery room and a reallly quick recovery. Don't forget at the end of the day its your choice how you give birth so if you decide on a section be assertive and firm :)

The debriefing was a bit of an eye opener. Turns out my daughter was born lying on her side which is what caused all the problems. I dilated properly and everything so have decided to go natural as it would be really bad luck for it to happen again. So here's hoping for one sneeze and here is your baby madam.
Thanks for the support folks
