with this new jab thats come out. (pneumococcal disease)

he had it on wednesday and i have not had a smile since.
he wont take medicine now. and spits it back.

he is boiling hot sweating so much when hes awake he just crys and crys.

but its for the best.. eh?

alex hasnt had his yet- they have to catch up on all the under twos as it was brought out after he should have had it.

if you are worried ring your docs and check if its normal to have that reaction - it often is i know they warn you about it with the others.

poor little love - so horrid when you cant help them

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

my friends baby was the same :( are you gonna take him to the doc? hope he feels begtter soon

Nathans the same. He had his on Tues, he's being a right nightmare atm :(

How long has he had a temperature Dionne? he hasn't got a rash anywhere has he? Might be worth getting him checked out at a locals docs or walk in centre if you can to check he is okie for the weekend. I'm sure he is okie but if he isn't taking meds it's a bit of a pain I know. Damien won't take them either

Dionne

Hope he feels better soon - let us know how he gets on

LBxx

I wouldnt worry Dionne.

Ellis had it with his first jabs and he was ill for a week, screaming all day and i couldnt put him down.

I put it down to all his jabs as you might remember from my posts when he had them done. But he has his second lot done yesterday (without the pneumococcal) amd he has been fine.

I told the nurse when he was having them done about how ill he was and she said all the mums have had the same reaction from there babies.

hope he feels better soon, i hate seeing the little angels suffer. But anyone else reading this that hasnt had there babies done yet, bare in mind that one week of a poorly baby is a lot better then them getting pneumococcal as i have heard it is alful!!!

You feel so helpless when they are like that.

I've been lucky Ewans been ok with his injections.
 for a speedy return to normal happy self

Lydia was grumpy for the day but that's all really.

She was worse with her 4 month ones - those have been the worst so far - she came out in an awful temperature and the place on her leg where the needle went in went really swollen and bright red, and she was really grouchy poor thing.

How is he today dionne? Hope he's doing better, poor little mite :( we've been really lucky with Jamie, none of his jabs have affected him at all.
