HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

I am being spoilt as we speak, i have had my cuppa bought to me in bed by Lee and Harrison, Harrison is now helping Lee make my breakfast and i have been told to stay in bed on the computer until downstairs is spotless.
Later were going out for a meal with my mum and dad, should be a fun day, going to have to get up soon because it sounds like they are having loadsa fun down there and i'm getting lonely....lol.

I mentioned to my mum the other day that I'd hoped if my ex hadn't walked out on me, he'd have got me a Mother's Day card (i'd have got him a Father's Day card, when I'd be 7 months pregnant). And she said "You're NOT a mother."
She's so nasty sometimes. Well most of the time. But it just makes me more determined to be an amazing mummy to my own little one xx

I got a card! so shocked, didn't expect my dh to even think about it, as I hadn't!

Yeh i saw some 'mum 2 be' mothers day cards in clintons, and almost mentioned it to OH, but didnt, HOPING that he would have seen them himself,,,,,
But so far... nothing this morning, not even a happy mothers day!!
ah well, looks like ill have to wait till next year!!!
OH just misses out by about a week on fathers day..... if he plays his cards right, i may be him a dad to be card!!!

My husband is making me breakfast in bed! We ARE mother's! We are going through a lot of stress, sickness and on an emotional rollercoaster to nurture these little babies! That's what my husband told me.

My boyfriend came back from his mums taking her card, etc with a gift bag full of baby clothes his mum has knitted for us (in white for the mo!) and a 'just for you mummy' card from her and his dad, how cool!!!!! It just makes it seem more real that next year I really will be a mummy!!!

We are all mothers! A woman becomes a mother when she finds out she is pregnant!
The girlies made me cards at school/preschool which was really nice; also got some choccies and had some naughty but very yummy food!!! The afternoon was a bit of a disaster - were going to go out but when the just as the girls and I were about to get in my OH's car he spotted a problem with one of the tyres which he just HAD to get fixed there and then!!! OK, it would have made going in the car dangerous, and he needs the car for work, but I was still bloody p**d off so anyway he drove off to Kwik Fit suggesting I took the girls to the park. 2 minutes later I realised that I hadn't brought my keys out of the house and the door was shut so we were actually locked out (my car keys were inside too but fortunately the car was unlocked so we had a little walk and then sat in the car for an hour and waited for him to come back) What fun!!! Anyway, I think he felt really bad when he got back so I didn't give him too much of a hard time........my little girl did though as she'd had to have a wee on the drive!!!
