Hand foot and mouth?

Taking cubs to the drs today, I'm not happy with what started off looking like a teething rash...

It's spread though (sorry pik isn't great he won't keep still very long)

Anyone else think this could be hand foot and mouth? He won't let me look in his mouth for any ulcers x

Yup, that's exactly what it looks like. Unfortunately they may not give you anything for it, I've had it and so has Alyssa, we weren't given anything to take xx

Not given anything which is fine it can run it's course, been told if he becomes worse with it to take hun back.
He's not ill with it as such, he's off his food and drink and unsettled at night, but at least I have a diagnosis and can monitor him.
It has worsened as the day has gone on but still not to a concerning level. He's let me look in his mouth tonight and definitely has spots on his tongue that the dr didn't see this morning so be refused to brush his teeth as the pain made him scream, (let him brush without the toothpaste and he was fine)

Dr ok with you being pregnant though? I worry about the childhood illnesses! xx

Yeah she seemed fine I did ask, I'm seeing my consultant Thursday anyway so will double check then, I always worry more as my DS has heart disease and a simple cold scares me with him as it can raise his heart rate x

There was an outbreak of hf&m here when I was just over 20 weeks, my DD had it and so did 3 others I care for, mw said very rare for it to cause any problems with pregnancy and wasn't concerned.

The main symptoms we found were worse in the younger one who had the full works and was off food, my 4 yo mainly suffered with ulcers, the 28 month old had mainly blisters on her feet.

Luckily it only lasted just under a week, poor little man, he couldn't eat, everything hurt his mouth.... Seems back to normal now though thank goodness x
