Hair loss

For the past month or so my hair has started falling out. When I wash it I literally pull chunks of it out! I'm 20 weeks post birth now but got the implant put in in November. Is anyone else experiencing hair loss? Iv got a doctors app on Monday but looking for anyone in a similar position

Hair loss is really common after pregnancy. I had heaps fall out in the first few months both times round. My sister experienced the same thing. I think it's because your hair grows thicker in pregnancy and then you get rid of the excess after you've had the baby.

It seems to be a lot thinner than it was before I had him

Yep it seems to be 'normal'. Mine was unbearably thick just after birth so I went to the hairdressers and had it thinned out to a more manageable amount. Then a few weeks later it started to fall out in handfuls.

AND NOW IT'S GOING GREY!!! I am 26

I'm loosing clumps of hair too, I keep finding it all over the house ! ��

My hair thinned out again after pregnancy, my hairdresser said it's totally normal. I also have loads of baby hair growing through where everything I seem to have shed is growing back in one go!
