Aww that is just so lovely! 
my friend was due on xmas day two years ago and she had him christma eve. I laways sort of feel sorry for xmas babaies though - their birthdays over shadowed by the xmas festivities.
My mums friends son was born xmas day and she always has a party for him in july so that he gets a bit of a fuss then.

No I wasnt sure before as I have had so many things happen within the last 2 months, but I am glad I do know now and I know that everything with the bean is fine.

Tash, WOW how gorgeous...got my scan week on wed and I will be 8 weeks and 5 days, I was worried I wouldnt see much but looking at "bean" there its amazing! I will take a box of tissues, I am bound to cry. Did you hear/see heart beating or is it too early for that? My sis is due on Christmas Day too, I am due 6th Jan-two weeks between us. Its going to be a mad chrimbo/new year for our family. Both first babies too so we are terribly excited and delighted!! There is something special about christmas babies I think, a way of starting a new year with a new life

Yes I saw a heartbeat it was amazing was going really fast awww im gonna cry again
My partner when he saw it come up on the screen and saw the heart beat he looked like a cheshire cat he had the biggest grin ever
In the hospital they were so good to me aswell especialy as they have booked my in for my next anti d injection glad its not till im 28 weeks though, it bloody hurts !!!
Yes a new year new life ohhh its so scary I just knwo its going to go fast it always does leading up to christmas.
