Hello all just thought I'd share my story :) went to hospital on the Tuesday with terrible cramps back pain etc, they checked me I was 1cm dilated this was at 9.30pm, I had some water saline injections in my back within 5 hours I was back at the hospital in labour it was about. 5.30am I got checked and I was 4cm, had my waters broke but nothing progressed baby started getting distressed, I stayed at 4cm until. 5.30pm Wednesday 23rd July,I then got rushed down to theatre for an emergency c section as wasn't progressing my little one was born at 6.26pm and took to breastfeeding straight away his name us Charlie James and he weighed 8lb15 he's perfect and beautful xx

Massive congratulations Lauren! Wondered what happened in the end as u disappeared off the forum!! Charlie is a cutie and great weight too! Well done u! Wishing u a speedy recovery xxx
 
Congratulations Lauren, Charlie's beautiful. I was also wondering if you was OK. I read your post in the week and wondered if you had your little one yet. Xxx
 
Congratulations :-) I had to have an emergency c-section due to non progression too and my little one was 8lb15 :-) all worth it in the end though xx

Congratulations hun, what a lovely name. Sorry you didn't get natural birth but your both safe and well and that's main thing. Enjoy every second, they grow up so fast xx
