and lozzi was right! Can't believe I was so worried, it was nothing!! When does the anaesthetic wear off though? Still can't feel my arm!

I don't think it takes very long to wear off. I'm glad it went ok 
erm a few hours, but for a few days if u knock ur arm, you'll feel it "move" nothing painful, give it a few weeks u'll forget its even there!
oh and if u have uncontrollable itching over the next few days its normal, i had it and everyone else i know who had it, had the same... goes as soon as it comes tho

so am i! but it was the best option for me as i got preg on the pill, and know someone who got preg with coil!!

I'm glad you have said this...my arm started itching like crazy yesterday (4 days after) and I was wondering if the injection site may be infected....Glad its normal then!
