Had booking in

MW came round today to do my bloods etc and she is fab A different one to who I saw a few weeks ago.

She's got a 14 month old that she's still breastfeeding and is a clothie too, I'm really chuffed. First mw that I've ever spoken to that I've really felt I got on with. It was like having a chinwag with an old friend It's luck of the day whether she'll be there when I have this bub, but at least I have someone on my wavelength to chat to over the next few months.

A lot better thanks hon. Fingers crossed the worst of the nausea is over Ella's been a lot better behaved aswell the past couple days which makes such a difference!

All in all things are going well, hoping that the worst of the pg symptoms are over and I can get on an enjoy the pregnancy now

Forgot to say that she's really supportive of me wanting a home birth and totally understands my reasons. This MW better not go off sick or disappear or something like that!! I spent the whole time pg with Ella feeling like I was being fobbed off by MWs so this is a new experience for me. Particularly cos when I met the other MW at 6 weeks and asked about bf through my pg I looked up to see her smirking at the trainee that was in with her

how rude you should have taken her down a peg or two hun im sure you will have no problems bf while pregnant some of these midwives are so bloody annoying xxxxx
