....for when I was footloose and fancy free. My best friend and I used to nick her mums drink and sneak down to the beach with it,and smoke berkeleys menthols....and we were so grown up because we had TWO WHOLE CANS of Magners and a bent ciggy between us...and we always used to share her MP3 and listen to the Cure...so I've just downloaded all the songs i haven't listened to in about 3 years.Aww. what songs make you nostalgic?

Westlife - Swear it again.

It was a song that was played on out last day of school in the common room and it always takes me back :D

swap the magners for a few bottles of diamond white and it sounds like me and my mates 15 years ago!! :rotfl:

'Walk like an Egypitian'
always makes me remember my first school disco at first school :D

and Toploader Dancing in the moonlight
http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/toploade ... light.html

remind me of dancing all night every night till the wee small hours of the morning with some fit bloke
when i worked abroad in the Alps as a Kid's Rep
oh i was a naughty girl back then  :cheer:

:D Anything by Greenday reminds me of being 13 with my first "proper" boyfriend and sitting in my little brothers room (we weren't allowed in mine on our own) and kissing after he had eaten his dinner that consisted of chocolate m&m's and it being all chocolatey!

But now my favorite is let loose, crazy for you! I love that song and my now boyfriend showed it too me last year online. :D Hes gorgeous and he doesn't need m&m's to makes his kisses taste yummy!!!! :D

hehheeee I will ad these for for you :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

i cant remember wot the song was called but a song from R kelly and that one in shrek ' i like big butt'
wen we were on study leave in yr 11 we always used to go to mine and listen to these two and used to make pan cakes etc lol

papa roach, linkin park, greenday, hole and limp buscuit all remind me of when i first started going out to rock clubs with my best mates, starting college and having the best best BEST time every week. (i was 16)

OMG that makes me feel old....mp3 player? Mobile phones weren't even invented when I was doing that :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It was panda pop bottles filled up with mixes of spirits from my friends dads optics, a straw and 5 of us to one bottle, and omg did we get wrecked on that

We used to try and skin up banana skins aswell :rotfl:

Music wise....it was soul to soul, and cant remember the band but that "3 is the magic number"

Mad Dog (20/20) to drink. Vile vile vile!!! :puke:

And we would listen to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Cypress Hill & Rage against the Machine.

We used to smoke Bensons - buy them in packs of 10 and try and sell them on individually for 20p each. I expect with inflation it would be £1 now.

Oh yes I know the feeling when you talk about things you remember, I started a new job recently and the majority of my colleagues are in their early twenties and they talk about when they were younger and were listening to "old" bands that seem quite recent to me

You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung

I'll be 31 in a few weeks. I was temping about 18 months ago and we were doing a pop quiz. One of the girls, about 19, asked "who are the Stone Roses?" And wasn't clear on who the Happy Mondays were until I pointed out Bez was in celeb BB (or whatever it was).

Taxi for Tadpole.

Ah, 20/20!! mmmmm :rotfl: It was that, or diamond white for me too! We used to put blackcurrant in the Diamond White cos it was so minging, and if you sniffed the open can it smelt like eggy for some reason :rotfl:

We used to go down the park and listen to Terrorvision, Greenday, The Wildhearts, Nine Inch Nails, the Levellers, Metallica... No MP3 players for us though, we had to take a little tape player (yes, cassettes ! :rotfl: ) with our 'mix' tapes, lol! I miss being young sometimes :? Then other times i laugh at young people and im glad im an old fart 8)
