I can't sleep now - too excited. Like the advert with the kids going to Disneyland. When I wake up for the 3am wee trip that's it for me.....I'm off thinking about lovely baby things we'll be doing in a few weeks time

That is very true

Only 19 days to go (we get induced at term + 10 here too) thats still less than 3 weeks.

I'm so fed up of being pregnant!!!!

And most of all, I want the rose-tinted glasses you get after you have baby (I think they're in the bounty pack) that make you think that being pregnant was an amazing, miraculous experience (not a hormonal, painful experience) and that labour was OK really. I can't wait to feel like that!

Plus, nursery is finished, cot is made up, everything is ready so I can actually have a baby now!!!!

I've still not packed my labour bag but I maintain that I will need something to keep me occupied at the start of labour - I have clay so I can do some labour art, I have the fabric cut and ready for a blanket so I can make a baby blanket, but if I'm not feeling creative these will be rubbish labour projects. So packing a bag (with the help of a detailed list) may fit the bill nicely

i cant WAIT to have mine. I know ive only gone 4 days over (so far ) but every extra day feels like a week

Anyway, sweep this afternoon (wish me luck!! ) so im hoping that this will be it for me

I think i keep crying because I feel so overwhelmed. Soon my baby will be here and I am feeling so many emotions at the same time. I feel excited anxious, scared, happy, sick, tired. It's weird

I must admit I shed a tear when I think about baby sometimes because of that huge overwhelming feeling so it must be sooo strong for you right now!! plus that rush of hormones you must have too

Emma58 - I kind of know how you feel. It i so overwhelming jknowing baby's on the way

I felt very strange and teary all around my due date (and i didnt even have any labour symptoms) but i think ive gone past that now doesnt feel like mines ever gonna make an appearence,

Hope your baby comes soon, then you'll be crying cos you've got your bubs, and thats lovely

I'm an emotional wreck My poor OH must have felt so bad this morning. I keep welling up just looking at all the baby stuff that is here and waiting for the baby to use it.
