Hi all,

I just read this article/advice column about a woman coming to terms with childlessness. Warning...I found it pretty sad so maybe don't read it if it's something that might upset you:

https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...el-moving-would-help-but-my-husband-isnt-keen

I also found it really refreshing though, especially the comments, where I didn't see even one commenter saying "Just adopt" or "It's so selfish to want children anyway" or "You don't really want children, take it from a father, they're hard work..." etc.etc. You know the "helpful" comments I mean, right?

Instead all the comments were a really helpful discussion of the different pain involved (e.g. living in the house you bought for kids), and the grieving process.

It made me feel more positive about the future and less frightened about the possibility that we won't ever conceive.

What are your thoughts on it?
