GRRRRRRR - Rant!!!

My OH volunteers at our local hospital radio, presenting a show on a Thursday Night. It takes him half hour to cycle there, he does a two hour show and then half hour cycle back.

I've just had him on the phone saying he'll be late as his bike was stolen from the hospital while he was doing his show. He's gutted. This is the second bike he has had stolen from there in two months!
Poor sod is now walking home and could take some time as we live across town.

Tomorrow I've got to call the hospital and get them to review the cctv (hopefully they'll have had a working camera and remembered to put the tape in it!)

Best go put the kettle on and then ring him make sure he's ok!

Sorry just needed to moan! I hate Peterborough!

Lucky enough it didn't rain but took him a good hour or so to get home. It was ECH Debbie.

Today I have got to ring up security at the hospital and see if cctv was working/aimed in the right direction/had a tape in. Sometimes they don't I think! I've then got to ask them to put it to one side so police can have a look (if they can be bothered).

Hopefully the police will ring today.... but I won't hold my breath lol

Well the police have rung!!!! but said probably can't do much

We have contacted the hospital re CCTV. Apparently there IS CCTV but it's only angled at one part of the bike shed.... and it's NOT the part where the bike was...
We're waiting for the hospital to ring back and I'm gonna complain that their security is not adequate and they must buy my OH a new bike lol.

Somebody in the dept said "why didn't you put your bike in the secure bike shed where you need a key to access shed area?"

Ummm cus no fecker told us there was one perhaps?

Can't decide whether to get OH roller blades or a skateboard!!!
