It takes ages to do a normal 40 degree wash- so annoying i put this wash on at 9ish and its still going only on the second stage!!
i don't notice so much in ths day coz i'm busy doing other stuff (like being on here....) lol

why does it take sooo long?

Mine takes two and a half hours on that kinda cycle. So I use the quick wash setting takes 40miins Whoooo :cheer: :rotfl:

It shouldnt take that long on a 40 degree wash :?
There are a few reasons why it may be taking longer than it should.

One is that the machine is losing water, so it is filling with more water as the cycle goes on which needs to be heated to the correct temp hence it taking a long time.
Another reason could be limescale.
Have you ever tried limescale removal powder, you can get this from tescos specifically for washing machines, you use it oabout once a month. If you washing machine element has got a coating of limescale then it does not heat up the water efficiantly enough.

The way you can tell whether its the element is to pour some hot water in through the draw on a wash and see if it reduces the time of the wash.

I always do a quick wash too- out clothes don't stay on long enough to get really dirty- they are covered in Evie's puke which washes out easy! :rotfl:

My normal 40 degree wash takes about 1 1/2 hours! The quick wash takes about 30 mins!
I want one of them new LG Steam washers that hold 9kg!! Woo hoo two washes in one hahaha I think I may getone after this christmas! (there blinking £800!)

How would you dry it all in one go though? It would take ages to tumble so you'd have to have a HUGE washing line too!

I'd put some in the dryer and some on the radiators lol! Or do two drys! My dryer holds loads but with some things not being able to go in the dryer anyways I would put them on the radiator! (I dont have a line)

I wanna grey one to go with the fridge I think saying that that "moon" is meant to be good as well and looks really funky!!!
