Growth scan

Hi

I had a growth scan today as I have a low hormone and also for my high bmi. I am 28+1 . The baby's head measured at 27 weeks 6 days, tummy was 27 weeks + 4 and the femur was 26 + 4 when they plotted it on the graph she said it's coming out slightly smaller than should be . The weight says 1028 grams. I didn't speak to a doc today as it was just emergency scans as I had reduced movements on Friday but the midwife came and advised the doctor had looked at scan and was happy enough for me to go and will do another scan in a couple of weeks .

Does this mean my date is wrong or what does this mean ?

The hospital told me not to be worried but I am slightly worried .

I had growth scans throughout my pregnancy as she was measuring small. It does not mean your dates are out it just simply means if they are concerned about weight or the placenta not doing it is Jon they will just continue to do weekly scans to monitor growth on the charts. Don't see it as a negative just see it is positively that you get to see the baby more and if there is anything they are concerned about they will pick it up quickly. I was induced the day before my due date and my baby arrived on her due date at 6lb 9 1/2 normal birth. I hope this helps.
