Earlier I went to empty my sink and thought whats that at the bottom (murky water) and emptied it to wash up later, I thought the dark object was just the scourer.

Omg I went in there about a hour ago to wash up and lifted the saucepan out and omfg there was a very water logged dead mouse in my sink and yes i screamed like a big girl!!! I went doing freaky dance around the house rubbing my arms frantically cos of having my hand in the water with it earlier, ewwwwww!!!!! am trying to put it out of my mind, totally put off eating for the evening!!!

shudders

Oooer how did it get in there?

The cats jump out of the window above the sink area, she probably got spooked and dropped it, would love to know what cat it was

Bless you hun, I would have been freaked out too  (but I did laugh at the thought of you running round your kitchen screaming  Sorry )

I feel your pain!!

My cats are always bringing things in. They had a mouse in the hall the other day and as it was so quick I couldn't get it. It then ran in the bathroom and hid behind the loo. As I couldn't be a*sed trying to coax it out I just shut the door & thought I would come back later. A little while later OH went to the loo and I heard the girliest squeal ever. The mouse had drowned itself in the loo. LOVELY.

I have to say - these days I am okay with whatever they bring in, although the dead squirrel was quite upsetting.

Ugh poor you.I kep putting my hand in the chicken feed barrel and lifting out some very dead mouse who has sneaked in and died of gluttony :puke:

Cats are little darlings and I knowmine love me vry much, but I dont want their 'presents'. Im guessing it was my beauty Rosie hat brought it in, she pleads starvation all the time lol. You look at her and think butter wouldnt melt......i know gizmo didnt so it, hes way too young and molly has gone off mice and has decided tescos cat food rules again :rotfl:

This is rosie, shes looking guilty!

I know how you are feeling! I had a rat run over my bare feet once. We were doing some work on the house and it got in somehow and into the pantry. I think I did the freaky dance for at least 15 minutes.

Hun you really should cut that access off her collar. I sometimes forget to cut Phoebe's off and it drives her nuts  Phoebe brings mice home in the summer, she doesn't kill them but they are usually injured so I leave her to finish them off because they die of shock 9 times out of 10. Never found one in the washing up though  I would have fainted
