got my first birthday card/i am such a grown-up!

its my birthday on saturday and i just got my first card in the post. its from my friend and its got a fairy on it, inside it reads: "you are the most beautiful of fairies!" and next to the pic of the fairy she has written "thats you, that is!" and an arrow pointing to it. awww! she is so sweet

also im kind of excited about this birthday coz it seems like a landmark- i'll be 28 and that just seems SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO grown-up! the last time i felt i'd reached a more "grown-up" age was my 21st, the ones since havent felt any different, i dont kno why but this one is exciting! i told my boyf this and he said "yeah, dying your hair bright purple is SO grown-up!"

i spose after my birthday i'll have to stop doing stuff like that!

28 grown up?! No way!! I'll be 27 in a couple of weeks and I feel far from grown up!

Old some days but never grown up

I find it strange sometimes when we drive past college and in my head I still think I'm only slightly older than them but I'm really 10 years older than some of them

I alwys thought you were a few years younger than me too!!!
