it seems that once u stop wanting to be/wanting to look older and start wanting to be/wanting to look younger then u are a proper grown-up!
iv always looked younger than my age and right up until just after millie was born i hated it ( i remember taking her out with the pram and some really rude older women in a shop queue kept looking over at me and were talking loud enough so i could hear them they were muttering something about "so many 'underage' mothers"
)
BUT today i was out in the little town centre nearby and i was stopped by a catalogue woman who asked me first "are u over 18?" and for the first time i thnk i smiled at this instead of frowned, and when i gave my date of birth she said "oh, u dont look anywhere near ur age!" and when i said thanku i actually meant it! i took it as a compliment-
so, at 27, i am officially old!
