Called the Dr for a check up as I've been really faint, seeing stars, migraines and just generally terrible all week.
My blood sugar levels are quiet low and they think I may be Aneamic, have to wait for results on Monday.
But basically I'm not eaten enough, although they say I have a healthy diet, I'm not getting enough 'stodge' and carbs. I feel so guilty but really struggle to have an appetite, I'm already constantly forcing myself to eat.
Thought I was doing well eating a huge plate of salad past few days twice a day without being sick but it's not enough :wall2:
The stodgy meals make me sick!

Anyone else still struggling to eat? Being sick?

I struggled around 27/28 weeks. My nausea was back in full swing, couldn't stomach anything. Was the same as you, literally forcing myself to eat. It only lasted 2 weeks and now I'm eating ridiculous amounts of food, as in, there should be no need for me to eat this much. I had a portion of pasta for lunch that would have fed 4 people lol. Try and eat little and often. No use forcing yourself and making yourself sick. Around that time I was eating salads but adding new potatoes, maybe you could try the same? Hope your appetite picks up soon my love xx

I'm anaemic - my bloods again showed my iron levels are low

What was your blood sugar score? Have they checked your BP?

Just try eating little and often. Try some new potatoes and chicken with your salad. New potatoes won't stodge you too much. and also try eating high sugar fruits to give you natural energy boost.

If your anaemic you'll get some tablets :)

I think my my blood sugar levels was 3.2 so she said I was on the very low side of average and I'd already eaten something sugary before the appointment which could of made it higher than normal.
My bp was ok but she said that it's odd , usually feeing faint bp would drop standing up but mine was shooting up, but I wasn't at the faint stage during the appointment anyway so she said it's hard to judge.
I had chicken and a potato salad in my salad all week and thought I was doing good. Went home last night and had homemade burgers in a bun, sweet potato chips and salad, coleslaw thinking I was doing well... Sick!
At this rate I'll be a skinny Minnie when baby is born! Xx

I would call your community midwife as seeing stars can be an early sign of possible preeclampsia so I would get a second opinion from the midwife who will know better about that than a gp.

I was anemic and started on one prescribed tablet a day but iron levels kept dropping so I upped it to 3 a day (max dosage) and they made me being all my food up so take it steady with them if you're already feeling quite sick. Make sure you're adding iron in your diet. You could add plenty of spinach to your salads.
