have you always liked and had budgies and how many do you have.
Can i ask being ignorant about budgies. You know the respiratory problem that some people get when they have parrot type birds, is it the same for budgies.

ive kept budgies for the last 3 years.
I got Gooby last June and tamed and taught him to talk for a year before getting Bobbles this May.
If you get your budgies from a good clean experienced breeder you shouldn't experience illnesses from the budgies. Its when you purchase from petshops where budgies are kept in large groups and infection is rife where you will get the illnesses etc.
Im lucky to know a breeder. He lives just opposite me and i was able to see Gooby and Bobbles as an egg
People often laugh at me when i say i have budgies but i can tell you this - they are the best pets ive ever had. Great company and VERY entertaining.

what puts me off is when you let them fly around and they poop. The amount of kids that come into my office at work that have seagull poop all over them is amazing. i know budgies are not on that scale but, i dont know if i could have the hassle of it all.

How many budgies do u have? Ive always kept them cuz i grew up with them at my mom and dads, mom had 2 escape 2 months ago so weve just broughe her a lovely pale blue and white one called Marty.
At the moment i've got Half A Tic!!! Whos a lovely blue male and a grey one Harry!!

Birds are really good pets
I have 16 birds and 4 budgie eggs, 7 zebra finch eggs and loads of quail eggs lol.
