Because we moved the week we found out we were pregnant I have had to sign up to a new doctor.
I had to have the standard set-up meeting with the nurse before I could get an appt with the new GP and roughly worked out Im about 7 weeks - what happens now? When does the MW come into things and scans and exciting things that will out my mind at ease! :)

I have a lot of questions to ask the doctor because im so anxious about everything being okay.
Im sneezing like crazy really hard heavy sneezing which is causing my whole stomach to tense up really hard every time I do and now all over my stomach (upper and lower) is starting to ache...this cant be good? ARGH! help..?
It also feels like my tummy is going hard under the skin - is this meant to be happening?

Also my cramps aren't as bad (they were pretty much all day but now they are every now and then - still like my period is about to start) as they were and while my boobs are still sore they aren't as sore as they were - is this normal - is everything just evening itself out.
super tired at the minute, sleeping most of the day at weekends and near falling asleep at work!

Its hard at the minute because we don't want to tell anyone apart from our mums and dads and well their last experiences of this were a long time ago (25 years ago!) so I don't have anyone to talk to about it and im just feel so nervous something is wrong all the time and i dont want to be a negative nancy!

hey hun, when u see midwife largely depends on area, i didnt see mine for the first appt til i was 13 weeks, some people on here have seen them for as early as 8 weeks though, my 12 week scan wasnt even til i was 14 weeks...
your tummy will be getting hard from now on, its the uterus getting harder usually u can feel it in the area underneath ur belly button. wouldnt worry about sneezing really, babies so young are literally only ditty lil things and they have so much protecting them ur body is the natural body guard :-)
my boobies were very sore to begin, as if i was coming on period but ur body soon releases a hormone which gets u used to the feeling, from 14 weeks to 21 weeks mine were fine, theyre sore again now but only coz theyre going through another spurt and as for tiredness it does get better i promise!

i hope that helps hun, dont worry about venting on here or asking questions everyones so supportive!x xxxxx

Everything sounds normal!! When I was in first tri if I felt a sneeze coming on I used to tuck my knees up to my chest, it stopped the sneeze from hurting cos it really does hurt lol! With tiredness, I used to go to bed at 9pm otherwise I felt like a zombie but it does help!
I saw midwife at 8 weeks but like kay said it depends on your area!

I also was in the process of changing surgeries when i found out i was pregnant. At my initial appointment with the nurse I said that I was pregnant (about 6 weeks at that time), she told me to book a midwife appt on my way out. Over here you can see the midwife at 8 weeks but each area is different. At my midwife appt they organised sending all the paperwork to the hospital to organise the scan.
As for sore boobs mine were really bad at around 5-6 wees and then they've been fine. Everyone is different and your symptoms could be different to others. Just try and relax, easier said than done I know!!. xxx
