Well I took Isabelle to the GP and he's given me the Gaviscon powders to try in her milk. Not quite sure whether its going to work seeing as most people i've read about on here don't think its any good but we'll give it a go and see what happens.

Anyway, my reason for posting is, do you have to make the feeds up as you need them or can you make them in advance? I've got so used to making them up hours before because of the colief so now i'm not sure what to do!

Quick answers would be great as she'll be hungry soon and i'm not sure whether to put it in or leave it out!

No you have to add Gaviscon to cold milk, mix it, then heat it up hun. You can make the feeds up as normal and stick in the fridge though, you just have to add Gaviscon right at the last minute. HTH x

I say mix it in cold coz apparently if you mtry to mix it in warm it doesn't work properly, but I've not actually tried it, it never worked anyway. Good luck and I hope it works for you.

Arianna had the powders and it worked a treat - just thought I'd give you a positive feed back if all you've heard is bad!!

I put the gaviscon in last min as I found it would thickrn milk too much if put in advance.

Thanks Sami and Sarah! She seems to be doing ok on them so far actually and has hardly been sick at all so fingers crossed it stays like this!
