Hi everyone
I just thought I would share this for anyone who might want to give it a try. Basically I was trying for a baby for almost a year and was told by my doctor that I needed to put some weight on as being underweight wouldn't help with ttc. So for this reason I switched to full fat dairy products rather than the low fat/soya products I had been having before. I then read a lot of articles on the net explaining that women who eat two or more servings daily of low fat dairy food were 85% more likely to suffer infertility problems due to ovulatory disorders. The research suggests that a certain fat soluble substance within the full fat version may contribute to improved ovarian function and it is also recommended that you have organic dairy products where possible.
So basically by switching to full fat instead of low fat dairy products, you may have a much higher chance of conceiving.
Now I don't know if this is all true or not but this was the only thing I did differently and it was probably about three months after I switched to organic whole milk and full fat cheese etc that I found out I was finally pregnant after all this time!!
So it's up to you if you want to give it a try but I really do think it made all the difference for me and just wanted to share my experience.
Incidentally even after switching to full fat dairy for this time it never caused me to gain any extra weight even though its always drummed into us that its unhealthy!!
Hope this helps someone and good luck everyone xx
