Hi Jadie

I also thought you could freeze for 3 months and use with 24 hrs once defrosted. I cant find the link but I got that info from the kellymom website

Happy pumping

I think thats where I read about it. Is it 24 hours after its defrosted, or when it leaves the freezer? I would hate to make oliver sick by doing it wrong!

I discovered that after defrosting my frozen breastmilk that it had a metallic smell to it- this is a chemical compound (lipase?) in the milk - which is fine if the baby will still drink it!

I read of others who threw away LITERS of the precious stuff cos their babies woulcn't touch it.

I found that I couldn't freeze mine for more than a few days without it becoming 'stinky'.

Dont freeze for too long without trying to defrost it!

I never thought of that. I know he hates the bottles. I feel so mean giving him one. I have got some new ones now. new tommie tippie ones that have just been brought out. The teat is more like a nipple.

But I will did not think about it tasting different! Going to defrost some now!!
