Fromage Frais for 6 month old?

Does anyone know if it is ok to give a 6 month old Tesco fromage frais yoghurt? I was under the impression that from 6 months I can start introducing milk based products (obv not cows milk alone)?

Libby has the Tesco fromage frais.........she loves it!! go for it hun, he'll love it too

(NB. The first time I gave it to her, it was the first tme she'd had 'cold' food as opposed to warm/ room temp, so was a little unsure, but the second pot lasted less than 2 minutes )

DS loves fromage frais, he also really likes plain wholemilk yoghurt with a little bit of bonne maman jam (he's tried blueberry, strawberry and apricot so far )
