My guess is you have a keypad from the app rather than your normal one? Handy if it works and your on the cheapest tariff!

I'm not sure what 'what's app' is Alice.

The only difference is you have to go into viber to get to your viber contacts and make the free call (to others with the app) although I did notice a flaw yesterday! Was out of the house an went to make a call to the hubs and it said I couldn't cos I was out of Internet range..so yep, it works off wifi connection.
