Fraser Adam Dick b 02.02.11 - sorry a bit late

Well my baby boy was born 02.02.11 by ELCS. Sorry it's taken me so long to get round to this. Bit of a whopper at 9lb 4.5oz! I had started to get contractions on the night before the op but they weren't reg and I wasn't dilated when I got to hosp - so I just went ahead with op (could have had to wait another couple of days and prob. wouldn't have managed VBAC anyway)

Basically op was great - they couldn't totally lower the screen and let me see but the surgeon talked me through the whole thing and said what she was doing. He was crying before he was even fully out and they lifted him straight out onto my chest with cord still attached for skin to skin - which I missed out on with my daughter. It was just amazing!!

I have found it sooo much easier to recover this time too and feel amazing for one week post baby! (Have of course had the odd blub with baby blues hormones - but am up more than down most days) Kinda dreading hubby going back to work next week though - nursery run could be interesting... lol.

Anyway I'm attempting to put up some pics here - but I'm struggling (don't know how to reduce file size to attach - help anyone?)
