gluten free range.. 500g of porrage.. same ingredients as baby porriage.. milled rice..same amount of salt.. baby porriage is 179 per box of 100g.. gluten free range in tesco is 500g for 275.. bargain! if its a bit lumpy or thick im gonna blitz it int eh blender.. cant see if being though.. so thought id let you guys know ive found a cheaper box of the same stuff

Is it in the "baby range" Lisa, or would it be with the normal porridge etc?

its in the gluten free range in tesco.. and its gluten free porriage..xx doesnt say its for babies.. im just going to make him some up now so will let you know what its like..

Sounds good - look forward to hearing Ted's verdict lol

Gonna look out for that if Ted approves :D

boiled it in water in the pan.. just as normal porrage is cooked.. then blitzed it in the blender.. its ever so slightly 'grainier' than baby porrage but he has eatten it fine no gag or anything..so gluten free range ftw!!

Just looked at it on the Tesco website - looks great :D

I did compare it to the actual "baby porridge" and that contains gluten anyway

Gonna get me some of that. If Roobs hates it, I'll eat it :D

Cheers!

really?? cant believe it contains gluten.. and theres mums thinking baby range is best :s scary really.. hence why i like to make things myself..

teds ate it with nothing in it either.. no banana coz charl ate 2 this morning  and he enjoyed rt.. so im gonna get some bananas blend them with the leftovers and bag up the blender full and get it in the freezer and add his milk to it in the morning i think..once its been warmed in micro..

Bless little Ted. He sounds like he's enjoying his grub like Roobster :D

Sounds like a good idea blending it up in batches and freezing it. Anything to make life easier in the morning. If you're anything like me, you've got three different breakfasts to prepare and get everyone ready in time for the school run

Let me know how it goes.
