*Forum Meet in London, Saturday 5th July 2008*

Il go with the idea of St James Park sounds great and the backup idea too!!!!!! I cant wait now altough itl only be me and the kids as the o/h will be working. :cheer:

St james and the back up plan sounds great.

Now what im going to ask is there parking near there as were going to drive in as we dont want to take the kids on the tubes for obvious reasons - london bomb scare, seriously squished and the kids would be scared out of their wit.

can't wait!! :cheer:

mrs-tommo... there probably is somewhere that you can find parking, even if around the Oxford st, baker st area, pricey though.

We drove into London on Saturday & parked behind Debenhams on Oxford st... £1.70 per 15 mins or you can park a bit further off on one of the side roads which was pay & display meter... around £12 for 4 hours.

Alternatively, if don't mind a bit of a walk, places like Bayswater are free to park after 1.30pm... probably no help to you but it's something :)

what would a 1 year old be like on a train for 2 and a half hours?

We took Sam up to Blackpool for the easter weekend & that was nearly 5 hours on the train & Sam was a little joy!

Took a few toys, snacks, drink & dummy.... he loved watching people, looking out of the window & sleeping :D

I'm sure you will be fine :)
