Forehead thermometers

How do you read forehead thermometers?

Is it when the square goes green that you read it or is it when the colour stops going up?

I hope that makes sense

Yeah was it is one you stick on the forehead.

I went and bought one of those Calpol thermometers instead, hope they are a bit more accurate.
