Food + Taste Buds

Is it just me or does no food taste the same at the moment? I just don't fancy food much at the moment cos everything I try is disappointing and doesn't taste as good as it used to and I'm the food monster, I should be gorging through the cupboards, but nothing takes my fancy

Know what you mean... I can be eating the same tnhing as DH and he is saying how yummy it is and I am whining it doesn't taste of anything!

Another pregnancy side effect... sure I read something about it affecting sense of smell which is linked to taste!?

In 1st tri all my purfumes made me wanna heave so I have stuck to one since then which isn't so bad though prob smells crappy to everyone else lol. It's such a nightmare. It's like I'll only want to eat pasta or bread or frozen potato shapes because I know theyre not going to taste of anything. Instead of the usual steak/spag bol etc which is my favourite food ever but will probably disappoint me.

Yes my taste buds are a bit odd too. I really fancied a ham roll earlier but when I had it I was quite disappointed. It was dull.

I'm more into plain food at the moment not spicy or stuff in sauces etc. During the first tri I was also really put off strong smells and perfume/after shave made me feel totally sick.

My taste buds were only affected during 2 months of the 1st trimester when I had morning sickness. Since then, appetite and taste are the same as pre-pregnancy.

mine are affected alot,
yesturday i had chicken nuggets for lunch cos i craved them all morning, and then by last night the thought of them made me wanna puke.

I know what you mean about perfumes.
I've given my mum all my really nice perfumes because they just don't smell right,and when i smell them,I gag
And I have stocked up on cheap Impulse bodyspray
