I do not know if i have done good but i bought sma progress for thomas as he is going to be 6 months old on thursday and has 3 meals a day now. he does not drink much so i thought maybe the extra iron and vitamins is what he needs :?:

have you already put your babies on the follow up milk? how did they reatc to it? normally? thanks for answers :)

Hiya Reece went from C&G omneo comfort 1 to C&G omneo comfort 2 (follow on)with no problems at all. He wasn't sick or anything, just the same. I wouldn't worry about it hun Thomas will be fine :D

The only caution I would say is that it can make babies constipated (I guess it might be the extra iron), and I know Thomas has had this in the past. Perhaps introduce it to him slowly over a couple of days??

I was wondering about this also as Aimee is about the same age... I have heard that follow on is rubbish and you can keep them on the normal milk but I have noticed follow on is a bit cheaper so if it saves pennies then i'll use it ! lol

Yes I also heard my HV saying that babies dount need follow on milk that they are fine to carry on with normal milk but if it is cheaper........... :D

I put Abi on follw on milk (C&G) and she had bad bellies all the time so went back to normal milk but have now tried her again on the follow on and she seems fine this time :) will be moving on to the next one soon, also she has been having some cows milk on her cereal :)

Will buy normal milk now because this one gives him tummy aches and although he is on medication, he struggles to get his poo out . But my supermarket is a pain in the a***, they do not do the milk i take anymore. i used to be on cow and gate premium, it has not been on the shelves for ages so switched to sma, but now they only do sma progress
i used to buy Aptamil and they stopped it too but now it is back on the shelf. not a happy bunny i am about them :shakehead:
