im nearly at the botton of the first stage milk tin, Coby will be 6 months in a week, do you think its ok for me to get the follow on milk now, or should i wait that extra week?

xx

Hi

I don't think it would make any diference. I have heard (HV again) that it is not necessary to use and you can just carry on with their usual formula. I am using the follow on milk for Isaac and I waited till he was over 6 months so I could finish off the old tub of formula first.

Cheers hun...

has your sterolizer broken yet? we got the same mothercare one didnt we?

mine broke

xx

Hi!

Funny you should say that because I was talking about it today to Jarrod and saying that I still haven't descaled it  I don't want to put chemicals in it. I think its definately on the way out. It has limescale round the edge. I think if it breaks I will use the cold water sterillising method till Isaac is 12 months old. I was also thinking today about dummies and why don't they make a dummy sterilliser? It feels wastefull to use the big sterilliser just for dummies during the daytime.

....or maybe thats just me? lol

the long stick thing in the middle that the bottle rings go round has snapped off on mine.

so now i have to put then in boiling water while the bottles are getting done, pain in the arse!

Blimey! How did you manage to break that off?! You should take it back. I thought you meant the whole thing had packed in and wasn't heating up or something.

it all still works, but without the stick thing lol

not sure how i did it, it just came off in my hand, cant take it back coz i havent got the box or anything

xx

Sell it on ebay!

(only joking) :)

Why don't you do the cold water sterillising? Looking back now I should have done that from the start, its alot less messing about.

Lou :)

why don't you get a microwave one they are brillaint, and in the tommie tippie one you can use it as a cold water one too
