Hi ladies, I'm looking a little bit of advice / reassurance!

I got my BFP last week and am currently 4 weeks so very early days, but so far so good. I have experienced implantation bleeding, but had a couple of days where I took a test just to make sure that I was still pregnant and it was indeed implantation.

I had a very tiny, tiny bit of pink discharge this morning but nothing since and because it was pink I took yet another test! Since my first BFP I have now taken 5 tests on top of that because I've been worried!

Has anybody else been like this or am I a whole new level of crazy?!

Hi Lovely,
This early stage is one of the most anxious for all of us we have all been there - I have about 10 tests that I used sporadically in the first few weeks 'just to make sure' so you're not alone there!

Try to relax and enjoy it (easier said than done I know). For added reassurance I booked an early scan for when I was 9 weeks and it really helped put my mind at ease becuase waiting for the 12 week scan feels like an age!

xx

Welcome lovely! Congratulations :) I think we are all exactly the same (I know I was) I took a FRER every other day along with 3 digis to watch it rise from 1-2, 2-3, 3+ I did stop peeing on sticks once I got 3+ ... but then paid for a private blood test to measure my hcg and progesterone levels ... I also had a private scan at 8 weeks (which was amazing) I'm now 12weeks and still a nervous wreck but have promised myself I'll relax and enjoy after my next scan. Crazy eh?! I'd say don't worry, you're as normal as I am! ... But my husband would probably tell you that's nothing to be comforted by :oooo:
One thing I would say though, is its not only an anxious tri - it's a tough tri with all the pleasant pregnancy symptoms so do your very best to focus on the nice bits / laugh at the funny bits - the outcome won't change and its a much nicer way to spend 12 weeks :) wishing you a happy healthy 9 months!
Xxx

It's definitely normal to feel like this during pregnancy, especially in tri 1. It's such an anxious time so it's understandable that we all fret over every little thing. I tested quite a few times for reassurance and then had an early private scan as well which I found helped a lot, it was such a relief.

Tri 1 is tough but it also flies and before you know it you'll be in tri 2 with a little bump growing :) xx

I am not a first time round - I am a done it twice without bliking, and now having another go after a very long time and feels like the first all over again kinda gal!

But, what I can say is this, you start worrying about them the minute you find out, the things you worry about change but you never stop, it's your instinct.

Bleeding in early pregnancy is very common, a doctor I know described it brilliantly, as you can have a nose bleed for no reason because a tiny blood vessel may get knocked or disturbed the same thing can happen down there - with the increased amount of blood flow and the amount your body is changing there are very often common reasons for a little bit of blood to show.

I hope this helps a little, I know it did for me, just try to stay calm and enjoy as much of it as you can!

Happy healthy 8 more months :)

ah thank you so much for putting my mind at rest guys! I know I will continue to test, but that's because I'm someone that always likes 'to make sure'.

I only have 3 more weeks until my first mw apt, so after that point in theory should only have another 4 until my first scan. If I can make it to the first MW apt I think I will relax a little bit more lol

Just a note on testing lots - I did the same thing but at 6-7 weeks the test line went really faint and I completely panicked. Apparently this is completely normal! But it does worry you when you see the line looking really faint! xx

I've continued to test until 9 weeks but just a word of warning hun the lines can start getting lighter after a while so it's not very reassuring lol, I gave myself a heart attack yesterday testing too late, if you have a look on my thread on this page.

It's totally Normal to worry in tri 1 it's a horrible nerve wracking time, at least we are all right there with you hun :) this Is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm alot better this time, I was an absolute wreck in my first one knicker watch 20 times a day haha, just got to make it through these few week's hum then tri 2 is loads nicer and more relaxed! Xx

You're not alone! This is my second pregnancy, and I am possibly MORE nervous this time round. Last time I was 24 and felt invincible - now I'm 34 and more prone to think of all the things that could go wrong. I hate tri 1!

Thanks for the advise on late testing, I will try to calm myself otherwise I will definitely drive myself crazy!

There is no obvious reason why anything terrible should happen in terms of health etc, so need to try to kick back and relax....

Hi, I'm the same every twinge makes me nervous at the moment! I'm 8 weeks and what's getting me the most is the light cramping. I've not had any spotting yet but keeping an eye out for it!

Hi guys, as a further add on to this post, today I am 5+1, and I know that this is likely to be the week I really start to get some symptoms, hooray!

Anyway, today I have had some twinges which are a bit uncomfortable but I wouldn't go as far as to say they're painful. I have also had a tiny tiny bit of very pale pink spotting. To be honest, because I've had an implantation bleed already about 2 weeks ago at the moment this isn't bothering me too much right now, but if it continues or gets any darker then I will call my GP.

Has anyone else experienced spotting after implantation?

hi guys I'm the same and I'm about 6 weeks, every little twinge or pain i get i freak out, i will not do anything to dangerous towards to the baby i.e lifting etc. I feel like i cant relax incase something bad happens. Even when ive been to the doctors i come out of there more anxious. I have had such a thing as implantation bleeding is this normal?

Hiya. First of all congratulations. Im on my 3rd pregnancy, and the anxiety is so awful. I still spend my days googling everything and in a panic. I havnt had any spotting with this one but did with my second (now 4) it was dark and there was a fair bit between 9-15 weeks. Its really scary but im sure as all the others will tell you as long as its not bright red its usually nothing to worry about xxx

Hey !!
This is my first pregnancy too and the day I tested the first time I got soooo nervous and excited at the same time !
next day tested... i think i did 6 in total !!!
Then i relaxed a bit... I4ve had rgular cramping the whole time but nothing i would call painful... just a bit annoying really.
I've had implantation bleeding (which i thought was the start of my period but wasnt yayy)
then a few days later some light pink discharge...

Nothing since but fainting at work and ending up in hospital :D OOPS
Since then I feel so nervous... going to the GP just brings my heart rate to crazy high ...
I blame it all on Baby hormones.... No one told us we could feel so anxious... But by reading all of you... it's absolutely normal !!!

Best of luck to all of you !!! we'll get through this like everyone before us...
