First Birthday Party

Hi, I'm hoping you guys can give me some help

It's Charlie's 1st birthday next Monday (although I'm still in denial! ) and we are having a party on the sunday with his little friends and our family and our close friends who have been there for me through my pregnancy and this first year. I'm worrying that it's going to be boring for a lot of people as we are having it in a hall which is not allowed alcohol.

Any ideas on games or how we can get everyone involved in Charlie's party?

Have you got any Ride-ons? A few of those always go down well if you can borrow some. How about a small ball pool or a paddling pool filled with balls?

You could do pass the parcel for a game, but I'm sure it will be loads of fun anyway

Could you make some little instruments like rice in some tupperware and put on some tunes? My friends little boy and the other Mums and babies do this at their mother and baby group and the babies love it
